Reino Linen Celebrates 80 Years of Providing High Quality Linen
Saint Charles, IL - April 06, 2023 - Reino, member of Healthcare Linen Services Group and a leading provider of laundry and linen services to healthcare systems in Ohio and Michigan, is proud to announce its 80th anniversary since opening its doors in 1943.
Founded by Dan Reino, an immigrant to the United States, the company started as a single shingle storefront that did processing for family household laundry and dry-cleaning needs. The business venture sparked an entrepreneurial spirit that led to the founding of Dan A. Reino and Sons, with Leonard Reino, Dan's son, leading the second generation of the family business.
Over the last 80 years, Reino has grown into a leading enterprise in the healthcare industry, with a combined processing capacity of 125,000,000 pounds annually and over 400 employees. The company's growth has been driven by a commitment to delivering high-quality products with exceptional service to its healthcare customers. "Our tagline has always been 'Be a little boutique(ish) and stealth like to deliver value and differentiate the Reino brand'," said Dan Darr, Reino's former President and owner successor to Leonard Reino in 2020. Reino's plant in Gibsonburg, Ohio, was the company's first location at inception, and it has since gone through seven expansions, becoming the corporate headquarters of Reino. In 2008, Reino Linen Services of Michigan was established, and in 2022, Reino Linen Services acquired a third location in Kalamazoo, Michigan, to expand its service geography and grow with customer needs. To support continued growth, Reino chose to partner with HLSG, which has allowed the company to scale the business while investing in technology and support functions.
