October 2018 – The Board of HLSG has appointed Joseph LaPorta as President, Chief Executive Officer, and Board Director of Healthcare Linen Services Group (Batavia, IL). Joseph will oversee all aspects of Healthcare Linen Services Group along with all 4 divisions, Logan’s Healthcare Linens (Shelbyville, KY), Logan’s Uniform Rentals (Shelbyville, KY), Superior Health Linens (Batavia, IL), and Textile Care Services (Rochester, MN). As CEO, Joseph LaPorta will be charted to lead the organization through its next phase of growth.

December 2017 – The Mayo Clinic (Rochester, MN) signs a 20-year contract with Textile Care Services (TCS, Rochester, MN). TCS’s linen services were attractive to the Mayo Clinic because of the partnership TCS shares within the Healthcare Linen Services Group (Batavia, IL) which includes Superior Health Linens (Illinois and Wisconsin) and Logan’s Healthcare Linens (Shelbyville, KY). This extends the Mayo Clinic’s vast laundry needs to larger out-sourced facilities.

December 2017 – Paul Jewison, VP of Engineering of Healthcare Linen Services Group (Batavia, IL) and General Manager of Textile Care Services (TCS) (Rochester, MN) co-developed new technology and implemented it in the TCS laundry facility. The new technology, Smart Ultraviolet Light Advanced Oxidation System (SULAOS), uses a series of UV lights to create ozone to charge the washer water. That water then runs through a separate set of tubes with another collection of bulbs for a larger blast of UV light. This in turn disinfects and cleans soiled sheets, towels, and other linens – using less water and chemicals.

September 2017 – Healthcare Linen Services Group (Batavia, IL), owned by private equity group Thompson Street Capital Partners (TCS) (St Louis, MO), acquired Textile Care Services (TCS) (Rochester, MN). TCS is a provider of linen services to the Healthcare and Hospitality industries.
