May 2020 – Healthcare Linen Services Group (St. Charles, IL) is proud to announce HLSG CEO, Joseph LaPorta, was featured in the TRSA article, TRSA Reports: Textile Industry Focusing on Medical Garments Amid COVID-19 Pandemic. The article focuses on the benefits of reuseable PPE and how laundry facilities are equipped to handle the washing and disinfecting of all reuseable PPE. Mr. LaPorta discussed how isolation gowns adhere to CDC guidelines and laundry facilities are operating 24/7 successfully meeting all healthcare facilities needs that HLSG serve.

March 2020 – Healthcare Linen Services Group (HLSG) Leadership Team was brought together for a two-day intensive training from March 5 to March 6, 2020 to discuss company updates, industry best practices and COVID19 response. “These trainings and investments in our senior leadership are paramount to our GM driven model and high-performance culture even more important during challenging times,” stated Joseph LaPorta, CEO of HLSG.

HLSG will now utilize Geotab’s Fleet Management Solution across all divisions, Logan’s Healthcare Linens, Logan’s Uniform Rentals, Superior Health Linens, and Textile Care Services. Geotab’s open platform, connects commercial vehicles to the internet and provides web-based analytics to help customers better manage their fleets. Geotab leverages data analytics and machine learning to help customers improve productivity, optimize fleets through the reduction of fuel consumption, enhance driver safety, and achieve strong compliance to regulatory changes.

HLSG will now utilize eMaint™ CMMS Software across all divisions, Logan’s Healthcare Linens, Logan’s Uniform Rentals, Superior Health Linens, and Textile Care Services. eMaint’s proprietary technology innovation is a comprehensive asset and maintenance management system that enables data-driven strategies to extend the life of assets (repair vs. replace) and improve ROI. The software’s ease of configuration allows HLSG to tailor the system for each division’s specific processes and company terms – greatly increasing user adoption of the new system.

July 2019 – Healthcare Linens Services Group’s (St. Charles, IL) is proud to announce Joseph LaPorta, CEO of Healthcare Linens Services Group, was recognized as one of the “Top 100 Healthcare Leaders” by the International Forum for Advancements in Healthcare (IFAH) for his many contributions in the healthcare industry.
