June 2021 – Healthcare Linen Services Group (St. Charles, IL) is proud to announce the completion of the Superior Health Linens – Joliet plant remodeling project. The project included full exterior renovation, new signage, state-of-the-art equipment, additional offices, recruiting station, and breakroom upgrades. Superior’s updated plant in Joliet has started to process linen at a higher capacity and will continue to increase volumes with a focus on providing linen management products and services in the Chicago area market.

HLSG Launches Company-wide Green Initiative for all Plants

February 2021 – Healthcare Linen Services Group (St. Charles, IL) is proud to begin the planning and roll out of a robust “Green Program” at all plants to incorporate eco-friendly equipment, products and waste procedures. Each plant was tasked to upgrade the equipment and products with state-of-the-art technology to increase energy efficiency. All divisions, Logan’s Healthcare Linens, Logan’s Uniform Rentals, Superior Health Linens, and Textile Care Services have put into practice equipment and procedures to reduce water usage leveraging UV technology, limit plastic and waste in landfills, reclaim waste exhaust heat from boilers to preheat water, and updated LED lighting throughout all plants. HLSG’s transportation fleet updated the GPS tracking systems with GEOtab products reducing idle time and carbon footprint.

January 2021 – Healthcare Linen Services Group (St. Charles, IL) conducted the first in a series of training sessions partnering with W.E.T. Industries (Streamwood, IL). All Chief Engineers from Logan’s Healthcare Linens (Shelbyville, KY), Superior Health Linens (Batavia, IL; Joliet, IL; Cudahy, WI; Madison, WI; and Plover, WI), and Textile Care Services (Rochester, MN) met in Batavia, IL for the day long training session on boiler and water softener maintenance. Each month, the maintenance teams across plants will train in-person or online discussing standardization of forms, repair orders, new equipment and installation.
